Today my focus is Understanding

Understanding is a state of the mind
Sometimes it takes time to process the ins and outs the right and lefts turns
Understanding that I can change my mind a thousand times
Understanding that things in life come with a consequence and its not just a coincidence it happen for a reason and not just a season
But the end result learn something from it yearn for understanding
Understand that we all are dealt a hand
Love hurt and friendships a broken but how we mend them are never spoken
Understand that I have a chance to play these games with my better hand
Understand that there is no need for a man but a want to understand just what it takes to keep me in a place, a mind set or state of being, a place to feel safe, a place to show my grace
Understand I am a woman with priorities, goals, and maybe want to even moan
But don't get it twisted cuz right now understand I'm focusing on me so let me be free to express me with whatever words that may be
