My Fight

I'm putting up a fight
For the things in my life
Fighting for life
Fighting for love
Fighting for the passions that drive me through life

No physical altercations
Just mental debating back and forth on how to conquer
Conquer the haters the swindlers
Conquer the negativity and stop all the whoa is me
For my heart is just as tender

Fighting for understanding and compassion
Fighting for the strength to get through and come out on top
Fighting for all the things that define my grace
Never to be duplicated but only embraced

I have the power the skill the mind to fly
To fly far behind the aftermath
To say to the referee I'm not done you see
I have too much fight left in me
I'm going to fight this fight if its the death of me
