When I look your way
And your smile brightens my day
Warmth is most definitely felt
I smile back, showing all teeth I couldn’t help
Your face friendly upon encounter
You say a joke, the room fills with laughter
Conversation I want to spark
Stuttering in my head, which comes first-words rushing to talk
The mere essence of your presence
Forgot what I was stating, repeating your exact words as reference
Tongue tied, embarrassing
You eventually stop laughing
Face blushed, mouth parched
You offer me a drink, again I begin to start
Expressing gratitude for my methodology of honesty
I feel like I want to know you so much better because of your sincerity
